Wins, Losses & Listens - 002

Wins – Major Success

This week in the wins category, I'm taking steps to learn how to organize my life and time. I'm blocking things out in a schedule and actually trying to use that schedule (I'll keep you updated). I think I've found a way for me to edit photos on the go. I'm going to be trying out VSCO and really trying to use it (will also keep you updated). I've written some music to some words that I've already had but I may be using some instrumentals from a friend of mine. Basically the major successes this week are just staying the course and trying to do better everyday. 

Losses – You Done Pissed Me Off

This week in YDPMO it's people's lack of awareness and patience. Earlier this week I watched a wreck take place on the interstate because someone was not paying attention to what was going on. It looked like everyone made it out ok, but that could have been avoided if they were paying attention. Because I work so far away from home, I sit in traffic a lot and I've noticed that people in general are really impatient. They swerve from lane to lane to move in front of one car. It seems like they would rather risk their life than wait the appropriate amount of time. I've learned that life is short, and I intend to live. I just wish people would slow down and pay attention to their surroundings.

Listens – I Been Listenin

This week, I listened to The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher and The Gary Vee Audio Experience. Although the Goal Digger Podcast is supposed to be for women, there are still some valuable lessons to be learned. Jenna talks about business practices and has wonderful guests on the show. I'm enjoying it even though I've skipped a few episodes. I started taking my own personal notes while listening to her show to help me remember certain things when making changes and improvements to my own business. You all know how much I love Gary so there's really no surprise that I've been listening to his podcast this week.
