Whenever you’re looking to get a photography client, most times they will want to see your work. If you don’t have any work to show them, you probably won’t get the job. I give you 3 tips to help you build a photography portfolio.

Recently I had the chance to get a little wedding photo practice. I wasn’t trying to intervene or undermine the hired photographer. I figured I’d just share my 2 cents and a few ideas on how to get a little photo practice in at a wedding.

It was nice to get away and really explore another country. We spent time doing touristy things but my favorite parts were spending time getting to know her family and spending time in London.

I should be ashamed, but I'm not. This shoot was a ton of fun and I love the way these came out. 

I absolutely love taking family photos, and these are no different. I love capturing the moments and interactions between family members. I love documenting their time together. These photos feature my friend Hillary and her twin children...

Gabe returns to the blog to celebrate his very first Halloween as Mike from Monster's Inc. 

He's a simple guy (a lot like me) and decided to do the photos in a park near my parent's home. Devante has spent the majority of his free time outside so it was quite fitting that his senior photos reflect that.

I may not exactly look the part or sound the part for that matter, but I'm a South Louisiana boy. I grew up in the Red Stick AKA Baton Rouge. Whenever you spend 98% of your life somewhere you kinda take it for granted.

It was a lovely evening full of friends and family that came together to celebrate the not yet born little one we now know as Gabe. Everything came together beautifully and it's been nice to see Gabe wear and interact with the things he received at the baby shower.
