DistroKid | Music Product Review

If you want to get your music out to the world, I cannot stop saying it, invest in DistroKid. DistroKid allows you to upload your music to the most popular (and not so popular) places where music is sold like itunes, spotify, tidal, google play, amazon, etc. If you’re an independent artist and you’re looking for a way to sell your music, this is it.

Before using DistroKid, I did not use anything else. I had done my research and nothing quite satisfied my needs like DistroKid. I looked and things like CDBady and Loudr but they wanted some of my royalties and the charge for uploading songs is expensive. DistroKid offers unlimited uploading for an affordable fee and I keep 100% of my royalties. What’s not to love?

I work with my friend Jon at our music company MinoRecords. We’re an independent music group who likes to release music where people are listening. Enter DistroKid. With our 2 man operations, we were able to put music out the public and make money. We actually turned a profit on our music for the first time since we started. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to say people bought or listened to our music.

We’ve been releasing music via DistroKid for 2 years and we love it. I just hope they’re ready because we plan to release a lot more in 2017. I give DistroKid a 10/10 would buy again
