10 Great Baton Rouge Wedding Photographers

So you’re looking for a great wedding photographer in the Baton Rouge area? Look no further, I have a list of 10 great Baton Rouge wedding photographers. I have had the pleasure of working with 9 out of the 10 on this list and I’m sure they will help make your day extra special.

Other business people may be asking why I would recommend other photographers on my blog. The answer is pretty simple. I want to provide the best resources for my (potential) clients. If I’m not the photographer for you, maybe you’ll vibe better with someone on this list. 

ItsLarryG Creations

You may call it cheating but the first great Baton Rouge Wedding photographer on the list is me! LOL! I would absolutely love the opportunity to tell your wedding story. I specialize in editorial portraits with a documentary approach but that’s just a fancy way of saying magazine style without too much posing. I’m mostly a fly on the wall, but will take command of the day when necessary. I want my couples to have fun on their special day, and you can rest assured that all of the images you want and need will be captured. 

Double Windsor Photography

David is kind of like my mentor when it comes to wedding photography. I have had the privilege to second shoot 10+ weddings with him, and I learn something new every single time. David has been in the wedding photo business for a while, and he’s really good at it. His personality and skill alone make him a fun guy to be around, especially on your wedding day. He’ll take all your worries away and make you look amazing in the process. 

Complete Wedding + Events

This is the last (completely) biased option. I have been working with the team at Complete for a few years now, and they are amazing! I have been on the video team as a second shooter and recently have been promoted to first shooter AND added to the photo team. 

The name really says it all because we all get along and work well together. Complete is a true team and if you hire all your wedding service with this team, everything is pretty smooth. 

Three Twenty Studio

I’ve known Dylan + Danielle for years! We all worked together at a marketing agency in Hammond, and I was even in their wedding. I’ve watched Dylan + Danielle build their business from the ground up and it’s been great to watch them blossom into an amazing creative team. 

While I haven’t second shot photo with them, I have second shot video with them. They are a joy to be around and the product is immaculate. They’ve been in the business for a few years and are killing it! They are a great team and will make your day really special.

Greater Works Gallery

D’Andre and I go waaaay back. I knew D’Andre before I even picked up a camera to take photos. The guy is really talented and consistent. He and his wife have become rock solid wedding photographers and love welcoming couples into the marriage club. While I haven’t had the chance to work with D’Andre on a wedding, I’ve worked with him in other capacities and he is a stand up guy. Highly recommend the Lee family to document your special day.

Anna Babin Photos

Anna’s work is lighter and airier than all previous photographers on this list. I worked alongside Anna as a videographer and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Anna was considerate of me and the shots I needed and provided excellent ideas. I’ve only worked with her once, but she left a lasting impression on me. Her wedding photos are beautiful and she is a wonder to work with.

ADL Photography

Arianna is another photographer whose work is more on the brighter side. While she specializes in senior portraits, I have worked alongside her at a wedding and she is great to work with. Her communication skills during the day were some of the best I’ve noticed. She was polite and considerate and a joy to be around. Her work is gorgeous and has my stamp of approval.

Bayou Rose Photography

Cyd is so freaking nice! I actually worked alongside her at a wedding once before, but really didn’t talk much. It wasn’t until I moved to Gonzales that I met Cyd officially. I reached out to her because she’s a photographer based pretty close to me. She was happy to meet up and talk about business in the area. After taking a look at her work, I remember that we had worked together before. Cyd’s work is amazing. She only takes a limited amount of weddings and sessions and she kills each and every one! 

Lens of Lane

Melanie actually photographed Dylan and Danielle’s (Three Twenty Studio) wedding. So while I haven't worked directly with Melanie, I have been photographed by her and the experience was pretty great. Her photos look absolutely stunning! She is a skilled wedding photographer and her work shows it. When my wife and I were looking for wedding photographers, she was definitely on my list of people to consider.

Geaux Garcia

The only person on this list that I have not worked with is Eric of GeauxGarcia Photography. Eric is on this list because I love his photos. His work just stands out to me. From his website to his social media presence he seems like a genuinely great guy. So, while I can’t personally vouch for his personality or what he’s like to work with on a wedding day, I can say that if my wife and I were to look for another wedding photographer, he would be on the list of people to consider.

Honorable Mentions:

Magnolia Photography

Chasity is no longer based in Louisiana but I’m sure she’d come back to photograph your wedding. Chastity was our wedding photographer. She was sweet, funny and made our day really special. We love our wedding photos and could not recommend Chasity enough. If you’re in Florida or getting married in Florida, look her up. She’s definitely one of my favorite photographers.

Mary Eva Photo

Since we’re on the topic of Florida, or if you’re already headed that way, check out my friend Mary! I had the honor to share a cubicle with Mary at a marketing agency a few years ago. We bonded over photography and dreams of being photographers. Her personality is superb and her photos are to die for. She currently specializes in more model / editorial work, but her wedding work is tip top as well.
