Self Portrait Sunday | 004

Self portrait Sunday is about exploring the self and creating a photography practice. Even if I end up doing the exact same poses every week, the idea is that over time, something will change or improve. I will discover a new secret, technique, pose, or idea within myself.

This week, I worked in my home garage studio space. I unintentionally worked with a lot of blue. I played with bouncing flash and the subtleties of editing portraits.

All photos were taken with my Sony A7III, the Sony 50mm 1.8 lens at ISO 200, SS 1/125, f/6.3.

I take a lot of self portraits. I thought it was time I actually share them here. Each week, I’ll be sharing a new set for Self Portrait Sunday. We’ll see how long I can keep this up.

I'd love to know what you think of the photos. Leave a comment below. If you're interested in a photoshoot, please reach out via my contact page.
