Over the past few years, I've struggled with defining what kind of photography to focus on. After careful consideration, I'm happy to announce that ItsLarryG Creations is focused on 3 branches of business when it comes to photography: Personal, Business, and Art.
Personal Photography
Personal photography is the kind that many people know and love. This includes things like family photos, senior portraits, maternity photos, and everything that you would hold near and dear about your life and the lives of those around you.
This type of photography is special to me because it's where I get to really know people. They allow me into their family's life and grant me permission to document their special moments. They trust me to create memories for them and their family. It's a part of my core mission as a photographer to help document these moments and help create these memories.
Business Photography
Business photography holds a special place in my heart. I grew up around small businesses. I went to school and have a degree in Business. The world of business, while scary, is very interesting to me and I'm constantly entranced by it.
As a photographer, I also understand that businesses need quality images to help promote their services and products. Many of them are busy and focused on running their business and don't have the time or desire to create these images. This is where I shine.
As a small business owner, I empathize with their time, schedule, and desire to look good. As a photographer, I love providing a quality service, product, and experience to help my clients achieve their goals. When my business clients win, we all win.
Art Photography
For the longest, I have not given my Art photography the credit or treatment it deserves. I'm changing that by moving it up to create the third pillar of my business operation. Art photography has allowed me the opportunity to create and explore without boundaries. It has given me a freedom that the other two versions could not.
Some photographers are masters of technicality, others are master editors, I lie somewhere in between. As an artist, I can walk the line and then skew it as needed. I can bring meaning to an otherwise overlooked situation. I see beauty in the calmness of nothing. Art is about observation and expression. It is my vision to create photographic art that observes the world AND evokes emotion from it.
