Carpenter Family | Family Photoshoot | Independence Park Baton Rouge

Anyone whose been a fan of my photography has probably seen my friend Christina. She's an excellent model and owns her own dog boarding business. And she gifted her family with a family photoshoot.

We agreed to do her family photoshoot at Independence Park in Baton Rouge. There's a fairly large beautiful botanic garden area at this park. There's a grove of trees, pavilions, and lots of flowers. Lucky for us the flowers were starting to bloom, which made for some great background elements.

I love to photograph families especially when the children are adults. I love small children as well, but there's something special about adult children who want photos with their parents. There's a different kind of love and respect involved.

The photos also make great gifts and capture these magical moments of adulthood for the child. If you're on the fence about doing family photos, I highly suggest you do it. 2020 solidified the idea that life is short. Document these moments and memories with the ones you love.

I'd love to know what you think of the photos. Leave a comment below. If you're interested in a photoshoot, please reach out via my contact page.
